Virtual reality application developed by 4-person team for understanding molecular and atomic structures. Responsible for 3D modeling of atoms and molecules using Blender for VR/AR implementation in chemistry education.

RealChem VR is an immersive virtual reality application developed by a 4-person team to revolutionize chemistry education by allowing students to visualize and interact with molecular and atomic structures in three-dimensional space. As the dedicated 3D modeler, I was responsible for creating all atomic and molecular structures using Blender for VR/AR implementation.
Traditional chemistry education relied heavily on 2D representations of complex 3D molecular structures, making it difficult for students to understand spatial relationships and molecular behavior. The challenge was to create scientifically accurate 3D models of atoms and molecules in Blender that would work effectively in VR/AR environments while maintaining educational clarity and optimal performance for the 4-person development team's Unity implementation.
As the dedicated 3D modeler in our 4-person team, I created comprehensive libraries of atomic and molecular structures using Blender. Focused on scientifically accurate representations that were optimized for VR/AR performance while maintaining educational clarity. Collaborated closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration into the Unity VR environment.
Won First Prize at Tesla Fest International Competition. The application has been used in educational institutions to improve chemistry learning outcomes and student engagement.
